Hi there!
I am a maker, creator & writer finding social-tech solutions to those on the margins of our society. As a disabled, woman of colour many of my projects begin through personal struggles and others that we hear from the larger community.
Over the years, I have mentored artists & startups in the creative industry, undertaken research based projects for The British Council, Facebook Inc. alike on creative startups & health data and shared my knowledge widely in conferences and festivals.
Recurring themes in my work include invisible disabilities, autoimmune diseases, patient-led healthcare, immigrants’ access to healthcare & digital solutions for social problems. I am proud to be in the RSA’s Fellowship Council for London while also building on The Invisible Labs platform for chronically abled individuals like me.
When I am not glued to my Mac I am either on a coffee tasting tour or lost on my sofa trying to realise impossible projects. If you’re someone like me or have an interesting project to collaborate on please do get in touch or simply say hi on Twitter @bhaesa.
